I don’t know about you, but I am so excited to see where technology is going and how fast it’s happening! In fact, sometimes, I wish I was my children’s age as they will get to see so much more new stuff.
Well, at least, it looks like flying into space is coming a lot sooner than most people thought.
Yes, most of us heard about the $40 million ticket that will get you to fly on a Russian space ship or how a few utlra-wealthy paid millions to book their seat on the first American commercial space flights.
However, space travel for a regular guy is coming soon too. And I mean SOON!
According to CNN, space travel is becoming cheaper even before it started!
About 360 passengers paid $200,000 each to be among the first travelers aboard Virgin Galactic’s trip to suborbital space. This trip will take them to 62 miles above the Earth to experience breathtaking views and weightlessness before landing on a runway.
And it’s starting as soon as 18 months!
