Mobile Marketing Is Going Down The Toilet…

Well, not literally, at least.

But very interesting to note that no matter what kind of a business you have, you can use mobile marketing to promote it.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is sending coupons and promotions to its customers while moving itself into the plumbing history books.

With Generation Y being technology savvy, the plumbing company saw the opportunity to deliver coupons the way this generation likes it – via text message.

Here’s-What-Happened-in-Mobile-Marketing-This-Week1-300x243“This is a new technological age, and we want to reach out to customers in a way that is most convenient for them,” said Fawn Barlow, marketing manager for Mr. Rooter Corporation. “The launch of mobile marketing is exciting because customers can take advantage of instant savings right from their phone.”

And there’s yet another benefit for customers. They can save Mr. Rooter Plumbing’s number in their cell phones after receiving the promotional text.

“Being in cell phones also helps our customers the next time they have a plumbing emergency,” said Mary Kennedy Thompson, president of Mr. Rooter Corporation. “Now, they won’t have to spend the time looking through the Yellow Pages or surfing the Internet for a plumber.”

“American Idol may have made mobile marketing popular, but Mr. Rooter Plumbing is making it beneficial and useful for consumers,” Barlow said. “This is another way our plumbers can go above and beyond to help make the day for our customers and save them some money in the process.”

So whether your business is selling computers or unclogging stopped up toilets, mobile marketing can improve your bottom line.
